Representative of EU Election Observation Mission meets CRF chairman
European Union Election Observation Mission’s Election Analyst Mr. Vasil Vashchanka met with the Communication & Research Foundation (CRF) chairman Md Enayet Hossain Jakaria— who is the steering committee president of VOICE Network— in the CRF office on 5 January 2026, Monday. The chairperson of the VOICE Network professor Dr. Jashim Uddin was also present in the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Election Analyst Assistant of the EU Election Observation Mission Mr. Tarek Ahmed, and CRF strategic coordinator Zakaria Polash and director of Bangladesh Society for Ecological Research Initiative (BSERI) Mr. Khalid Hossain. They exchanged views about the election ecosystem, election observation process as well as the media landscape of Bangladesh. The delegation invited Voice Network members (observer organizations) in the upcoming meeting to be held with the head of EU observation mission on mid-January 2026. The CRF chairman explained the civic engagement programs and the prospective future in Bangladesh, offering the avenues of collaboration.
